“I have only wonderful things to say about Kids Work and we are so glad we decided to send our daughter there this past Sept when she turned 2. We were worried about how she’d adjust to daycare (after being at home her first two years), but after the first couple of weeks, she absolutely loves going to school everyday and gets so excited to walk out the door every morning. I can tell that the teachers genuinely care for the children, and the directors are so caring and helpful as well. I always look forward to receiving my daily updates and seeing pictures of my daughter engaging in the activities for the day. The staff is incredibly responsive if you have a question or request, and the assistant director, Dani, even proactively followed up with additional information for me after I inquired about speech therapy with one of the teachers. I also feel like the student teacher ratio is a bit lower than usual with 14 kids to 3 teachers in a class for 2-3 year olds. Finally, I love their long hours… they are open 7am-6:30pm. Although she never stays the entire time, it’s always helpful on the rare occasion we need to drop off earlier or pick up later.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this daycare center! My child is in one of the infant classrooms and is very well cared for… dare I even say loved!

We started daycare for our son at 3 months of age and I have never had a worry or concern when leaving him with his teachers. I honestly have never felt as good about leaving my child in someone else’s care as I do when I leave him at Kids’ Work.

We were originally going to have a nanny, just as we had for our older daughter; things fell through with our candidate and I needed to head back to work… enter the one spot in the infant room open at Kids’ Work. After a tour I was smitten.

This place has completely changed my mindset about daycare. The 1:1 attention is still there and you will watch your child flourish under amazing teachers. We’ve been with Kids’ Work almost 3 months now (yes a fairly short time) BUT I cannot say enough good things.

The teachers are amazing; planning, playing, and simply caring for these little ones. They are super attentive and make sure each child is receiving individualized care. They ask questions and care about the answers to make sure your child is happy – healthy – and growing! These ladies keep everything CLEAN and follow every rule or direction for your child to the T.

The school is hyper clean, shoes off when you enter, booties on for the infant rooms, wash hand, wash baby’s hands… it’s fantastic!!

The directors are ever present if a question or issue ever pops up and are overall amazing.

We love it here!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the teachers, food, and programming. Our little one has been here since infancy, so we have experienced several different classrooms and have always had a wonderful experience. The teachers are very caring and creative and the kids have days that are full of play and learning opportunities. There is yoga, music, gross motor play time, and lots of art and sensory exploration. The peace of mind that we have knowing our kid is so well taken care of, engaged, and happy counts for a lot.”

“Both our children, now ages 2 and 4, went to Kids Work Too and loved it. We had to move out to the suburbs but were extremely sad to leave. Frankly, now that we have a comparison of our new suburb place to KW2, we realize how great it really was! Loved the teachers, loved what the kids were learning. Highly recommend.”

“We love Kids’ Work Chicago Too! Our child is in one of the Infant Rooms so my review can really only speak to our experience there – but so far it’s been awesome.

The ratio is the best we found for an infant room out of all the places we visited – 3 teachers to 8 kids! So that factor really swayed us, but everything else about this daycare is really incredible, too. The teachers are all really really great. They take the time to talk to us when we drop of our little guy and when we pick him up – so we’ve gotten to know them well and it’s fun to catch up and hear how the day went and even chat about what sort of upcoming plans we all have outside of daycare! And they are great with our kiddo, he gets so excited when he sees them in the morning. They have fun nicknames for him and even came up with a theme song they sing for him. It’s awesome.

He gets to do tons of art projects, sensory play, there’s a weekly music class – all sorts of things we probably wouldn’t even think to do with him at home. And they send us pictures and videos of him during the day so we can see what he’s up to.

We feel really lucky to have discovered this place. We were very nervous about all things daycare as most of our friends use nannies. But we really love it and now can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s such a good, warm, friendly spot with a great staff and I think the socialization skills even infants can learn at daycare are super important.”

“The Roscoe teachers are AMAZING! We love them and feel like they are the moms and dads when we’re away. Our son loves it here and has made some great friends. The teachers and administration truly love what they do and it shows! We’ll be sad to leave for kindergarten and we’ll be lucky if his future teachers are half as good as you all! :-)”

“We moved our daughter to Kids Work in January of 2013. It was the best decision we have ever made as parents! The whole staff at Kids Work is amazing. The building is spotless and we love the security. Best of all – the 3 to 1 ratio. Our old center was 4 to 1 and we felt like our daughter was never getting enough attention. We would gladly recommend Kids Work to any family looking for high quality child care with high quality people!”

“We were deciding between a nanny and daycare when we toured Kids’ Work. I cannot express how happy I am we chose to send my son here. While my son would have been taken care of at home or at other facilities, he was truly loved at KW.

One thing that set KW apart from other centers is that their teacher:infant ratio is 1:3. This was so important to me because my son started attending KW when he was only 11 weeks old, and I wanted my baby to be hugged!

The teachers and staff are all so amazing and warm. Our son was in the Addison room w/ Miss Alicia, Miss Iliana, Miss Kia, and Miss Pat, all of whom we loved. Sierra and Dani are the most wonderful directors. Not only are they caring, they are also responsive, respectful, and on top of things. The first time Dani called to tell me my son had a fever, I arrived to find him crying while being walked up and down the hall. Dani informed me of his temps at various times that day, and his other symptoms of discomfort. I felt so good knowing that when my little guy needed it the most, KW was there to comfort and care for him.

I was very concerned about my little guy getting sick in daycare. I realize every child is different, but in the 4 mos. my son was at KW, he only came home w/ a low-grade fever twice.

As an added bonus, KW gives you a list of teachers who are willing to babysit! That was amazing to us as first-time parents w/ no rolodex of babysitters.

We recently moved out of state. I literally cried when we had to pull my son from KW. I know he would have developed and grown if he’d been home w/ a nanny, or at another daycare center, but he truly thrived at KW. Thank you, KW, for giving us the best first childcare experience ever!”
