Here at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview, we’re invested in providing security and peace of mind for our students and their parents.
We have several dedicated systems and protocols in place to give parents confidence when dropping off their children.

As all our exterior doors are locked, the KISI App is a significant part of our security protocol. It is designed to balance convenience for parents with an extra layer of facility security. The app, available for download on phones and other devices, grants parents access to our facility while keeping unauthorized visitors out. Parents are welcome and encouraged to drop their children off at their classroom door, though only students and teachers are allowed in these classrooms.
Our 24-hour video monitoring system can help our staff and administrators provide the safest learning environment possible for our students. The video system is designed to monitor all of our classrooms and shared spaces around the clock to give parents peace of mind that their children are secure.
We work hard to ensure that all repairs and updates are completed in a timely manner, ensuring the space functions as intended and provides the safety our students deserve. Our diligence is intended to provide the optimal shared spaces and classrooms for children to flourish. Combined with our efforts to go above and beyond DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) ratios, we also have floating educators to help out in these classrooms, supporting our teachers and students.
All parents and visitors to our facility are required to ring the doorbell upon arrival. The doorbell will alert an administrator, who will take note of who the visitor is and address their purpose before granting them access to the building. It is another layer of security to ensure that all of our students are safe.
