NIPSA Accreditation – a Mark of Excellence

Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview is proud to be accredited by NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association). The organization surveyed our school in 16 different areas, from philosophy, curriculum, organization, safety, and staff to student services, parent community, our building, finances, and more. The visiting delegates were so impressed with the teachers and their interactions with the children, the parents’ positive reviews of the school, and our “meticulously maintained early childhood program.” We are so proud and so grateful for our Kids’ Work community and are so happy to hold this mark of distinction!

Safety Is Always the Number One Priority

All staffers hold CPR certification and have up-to-date first aid training. Each camp group carries an emergency first aid kit, and a nurse consultant provides regular training on the correct use and application of action plans, rescue inhalers, and EpiPens.
Safety Is Always the Number One Priority
Since we are private center and serve a high risk population of infants and children who are not of the age to vaccinate against many communicable diseases, we strictly follow the DCFS requirements for the DHS Health form to indicate that all students and staff have received the immunizations required by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Therefore we are not able to make an exemption on vaccine requirements for our students.
All students (including international students) are required to be seen by a doctor in the state of Illinois and have the DHS Health Form be completed by a doctor licensed in the state of Illinois.
