Parents with young children are in for a memorable experience in the Windy City during this holiday season, as an immersive storytelling event for young audiences is set to kick off.
The Cozy Cabin Tales, presented by Corn Productions, is welcoming families in Chicago to come enjoy the heart-warming tales that are suitable for the whole family, including children in daycare in Chicago. The production is the group’s newest show, featuring winter-themed folktales told by a group of friends who are awaiting the end of a snowstorm in the comfort of their small cabin.
As a way to pass the time, the characters bring their stories to life to entertain each other and the audience, all while learning life lessons. Attendees will get to enjoy a fresh batch of hot cocoa and listen to stories that will be fun for the entire family, allowing parents to bond with their young ones outside of learning hours at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.
The production will feature Paul Kauffmann as Daniel, Ariel Notterman as Ollie, Barbara Burns as Beatrice, and Reina Kauffmann as Belinda. The production was written by Tom Cannan and directed by Cannan and Jamie Link. No food will be allowed into the host venue.
The Cornservatory Theatre on North Lincoln in Chicago will host the cozy theatre experience. The production will run through until Monday, January 4. All shows will be held on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 AM. Tickets start at $8 per person online.
