Since we are private center and serve a high risk population of infants and children who are not of the age to vaccinate against many communicable diseases, we strictly follow the DCFS requirements for the DHS Health form to indicate that all students and staff have received the immunizations required by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Therefore we are not able to make an exemption on vaccine requirements for our students.
All students (including international students) are required to be seen by a doctor in the state of Illinois and have the DHS Health Form be completed by a doctor licensed in the state of Illinois.

Questions Parents Ask About Our Drop-In Care Program

What drop-in care options does Kids' Work offer?

During the school year, Kids’ Work offers scheduled drop-in care days that families can book as needed. The center is open from 8am to 5pm with flexible drop-off and pick-up. Families are required to provide a copy of their child’s immunization records upon application.

What does a drop-in care day look like at Kids' Work?

Drop-in days include a full day of structured activities and play. Children start with open-ended exploration and an organic breakfast, then move into curriculum activities and sensory play. Time in the indoor play area and playground is included, followed by lunch, a rest period, and an afternoon of art, movement, and outdoor time.
