How part-time works

Part-time means full days, just fewer of them. Pick the number of days that fits your family, and your child keeps the same set days each week so their routine stays steady. Many centers offer no part-time, or only fixed Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu options. We try to work with the days you actually need.

Part-time is offered for every age group, from infants through junior kindergarten. Part-time spots are based on classroom availability.

What's included

  • Organic breakfast snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for ages 15 months and up
  • Optional organic meal plan for infants 6 to 14 months
  • Weekly enrichment such as Spanish, music, soccer, and movement
  • Curriculum activities and student assessment
  • Summer camp for ages 3 and up
  • Diapers and wipes, sunscreen and lotion, and more

NIPSA Accreditation – a Mark of Excellence

Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview is proud to be accredited by NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association). The organization surveyed our school in 16 different areas, from philosophy, curriculum, organization, safety, and staff to student services, parent community, our building, finances, and more. The visiting delegates were so impressed with the teachers and their interactions with the children, the parents’ positive reviews of the school, and our “meticulously maintained early childhood program.” We are so proud and so grateful for our Kids’ Work community and are so happy to hold this mark of distinction!

An Early Start to School Success

Utilizing the Experience Preschool Curriculum, our educators develop research-based learning environments designed around rich monthly themes. Early reading, writing, and math readiness skills are introduced through hands-on art, music, games, and playful manipulatives that support growth across all areas of development.

Learning Without Tears is also introduced at this point, providing additional early exposure to the building block of future learning.

Experience Our Modern, Hands-On Learning Spaces
Since we are private center and serve a high risk population of infants and children who are not of the age to vaccinate against many communicable diseases, we strictly follow the DCFS requirements for the DHS Health form to indicate that all students and staff have received the immunizations required by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Therefore we are not able to make an exemption on vaccine requirements for our students.
All students (including international students) are required to be seen by a doctor in the state of Illinois and have the DHS Health Form be completed by a doctor licensed in the state of Illinois.
