Iconic children’s characters have landed at Chicago museum

Happy, Safe, & Learning

Some iconic characters have made a stop at a Chicago museum, and parents with children are welcome to join in the fun.

Take Care with Peanuts: The Exhibit can now be visited at the Chicago Children’s Museum, providing a fun setting for parents and their children to bond over the changing season and nostalgic characters. Attendees will be taken into the world of Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip, seeing iconic and beloved characters through interactive displays throughout the exhibit.

Guests will have access to character-themed sections that provide learning experiences for all ages, including children in daycare in Chicago. It is being presented by the Peanuts’ global initiative, which promotes care of others, the planet, and oneself. It is a traveling exhibit that began at the Miami Children’s Museum. It balances interactive settings with educational goals, making it a great way to help young ones learn outside of Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

In addition to the displays, the exhibit will feature interactive stations designed to help children explore and learn about self-care, environmental stewardship, and empathy. It is a fantastic way for Chicago parents to bond with their children and support their growth.

The exhibit is set up at the Chicago Children’s Museum, located on East Grand Avenue in downtown Chicago. It is open now and will run until January 4, 2026. The museum is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays through Sundays. Tickets cost $21 per guest online.
