Summer will be here before you know it, and parents in Chicago who are looking for fun summer camp experiences for their children will want to save the date.
The Windy City Camp Fair has announced its official date for this March, bringing dozens of camp experiences to one convenient location to help parents find the perfect match for their children’s summer activities. The in-person camp expo has announced that over 50 camps, including day camps, overnight camps, and specialty programs, will be in attendance to share information about what they provide and how their camp can help your children grow.
It’s an excellent way for parents with children attending Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview to compare summer opportunities from across the greater Chicago area. The camps are open to children as young as those in preschool in Chicago.
The gathering provides parents with the opportunity to ask any questions they have to a representative, instead of needing to contact each camp individually for information.
Camps will showcase the games and activities they offer to give children a preview of their experience. Raffles will be held, and children’s activities will ensure a fun day at the fair for all. Space is limited at the expo, and parents who wish to attend will want to reserve their tickets while spots last.
JoAnn Rooney Hall on the Loyola University Chicago campus will be the host site for the Windy City Camp Fair. It’s scheduled for Sunday, March 15. The doors open at noon, and tickets are free and available online.
