Chicago museum creates family-friendly Halloween experience

A museum in the Windy City has announced a new experience that is designed to be fun for the whole family, allowing local parents to enjoy themselves along with their children.

The Pumpkin Lights and Playful Frights experience, presented and hosted by the WNDR Museum in Chicago, has opened to the public, offering a new and memorable way to celebrate the spooky season. The experience is ideal for little ones in preschool in 60618, as well as older children.

Families who attend will explore the setting, which is filled with glowing pumpkins, a candy-filled pumpkin path, and quirky trails that suit the Halloween atmosphere. Parents can rest assured that their young ones will encounter no scares along the journey, ensuring a positive experience for all. It is a memorable way to bring families together after a week of learning and growing at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Several activities geared toward children will also be open to attendees. Little ones at the event can decorate pumpkin totes, examine more than 150 illuminated pumpkins that make up the display, and take part in a Trick-or-Trek stamp rally.

The display is located at WNDR Chicago on West Monroe Street, and will be open until Sunday, November 2. Access to the exhibit is included with a general admission ticket to the museum, which costs $28.99 on weekdays and $38.99 on weekends. The museum is open from 1:00 to 6:30 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekends.
