Children in Chicago will have an opportunity to learn new skills and get active through an upcoming program that is being held at a popular local theater.
The Mix and Move session, which is presented by Sensory Sitters, is coming to Chicago later this month, providing children in the area a fun event where they can mix things up with guidance from instructors, and enjoy various movement activities that promote health and wellness. Parents are encouraged to attend with their little ones, with registration open to children between 4 and 10 years old.
The mixing portion of the event will allow kids to mix up a colorful dough of their choice to enjoy a sensory learning experience. The second half of the event is all about movement, with children enjoying the chance to conquer an obstacle course and participate in a series of movement activities that build fine motor skills and promote physical wellness – making it excellent for children in preschool in Chicago.
The session is an ideal opportunity for parents with little ones who attend Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview to grow their relationship while helping their children develop healthy minds and bodies. It’s also a space where attendees can develop new friendships.
The Chicago Children’s Theatre, located at 100 South Racine Avenue in downtown Chicago, will be the host site for the Mix and Move session. It will start at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 21. Enrollment is open online for $39.19.
