An immersive and fun performance of a classic story is coming to Chicago, providing a family-friendly setting where children and their parents can bond together.

Chicken Little will be coming to the Beverly Arts Center in a few weeks, aiming to combine music with a comical setting and presentation to delight the children in the audience. The show, which is suitable for children in daycare in 60618, will follow the story of several adorable characters who race to tell the king that the sky is falling.

Parents can choose the seats for themselves and their young ones when attending the weekend shows, with showings during the weekday using the front two rows of seats for a great view and experience.

Rachel Mannix, a local director with extensive experience, will direct the performance. Actors and actresses like Ariana Arralde, Andy Breitbarth, and Jen Lenius will make their characters come to life throughout the hour-long show. There will be no intermission during the experience. The story is based on the original movie, using music and a script written by Paige Coffman and Jesus Perez, an award-winning duo. Children who attend Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview and have a passion for creativity will likely enjoy this wacky production.

The show will be held at the Beverly Arts Center on West 111th Street in downtown Chicago. It will run from Thursday, October 29 through Wednesday, November 26, starting at 10:30 AM. Parents are encouraged to reserve tickets online 24 hours in advance to ensure seats. Tickets are $20 per guest online.
