Child-friendly scavenger hunt to bring Chicago families together

About Us

Chicago families seeking a fun way to spend time together are in luck, as immersive scavenger hunts have been organized to encourage teamwork and exploration.

The Family Scavenger Hunt in Chicago is up and running, offering opportunities for local families to explore more of the city while allowing their young ones to learn and grow through play. The event is being presented through the Questo App, which hosts the scavenger hunts and provides all of the necessary information.

Children will get to enjoy a colorful and memorable outdoor adventure that allows them to work together with siblings and parents to search for clues and solve the scavenger hunt’s puzzles. It is suitable for children in daycare in Roscoe Village, Chicago and the surrounding areas, and is an excellent way for families to spend quality time together. Children can use the problem-solving skills they’ve gained through lessons at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview to move through the clues.

The hunt is inspired by popular characters and superheroes, and each puzzle will reveal a fact about all five senses. The hunt will require families to walk to real locations, and children will only use the phone or tablet’s screen in meaningful ways.

The scavenger hunt will visit 12 locations across Chicago, and is expected to cover around 1.5 miles in total. It lasts around 90 minutes, and all that is necessary is a smartphone with an internet connection. Interested parties can sign up any day of the week online for $10 per phone.
