A family-favorite event is returning to the Chicago area this January, allowing interested parties and their young ones to sample different types of hot cocoa while supporting local businesses.
The Cocoa and Coffee Crawl of Wheaton has announced an official date on the calendar for this year’s celebration, allowing local families to plan their agenda to include a stop at the anticipated gathering. The event will allow families to warm up during the heart of the Windy City’s winter while exploring downtown Wheaton and supporting its shops and restaurants.
The crawl is suitable for attendees of all ages, with organizers providing a safe and welcoming environment where children attending daycare in 60618 can have fun. Some of the hot cocoa flavors on display will include Mexican Hot Chocolate, White Hot Chocolate, Classic Hot Chocolate, and Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate.
Attendees will get to sample each to discover new favorites. The crawl is an ideal setting for parents to bond with their children after a week of learning at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview. Registered families will need to check in upon arrival, at which point they will receive a wristband and a map detailing the tasting stations.
Guests who purchase the VIP package will also receive a commemorative mug. There are many child-friendly beverages on offer, and the event will provide unlimited samples.
The Cocoa and Coffee Crawl will be held in Downtown Wheaton on Sunday, January 10, from noon to 3:00 PM. General admission tickets are $18, while VIP tickets cost $25 online.
