Dinosaur exhibit to explore nature in Chicago

Day-Care Nursery for Babies

Parents looking to provide an immersive experience to their children in Chicago may be interested to know that a new exhibit exploring the world after dinosaurs is now open.

The After the Age of Dinosaurs exhibit at the Field Museum is officially welcoming interested parties, providing Chicago’s Pre K children and up with an impressive learning experience. The exhibit focuses on how the world changed after the Earth collided with a massive asteroid, ending the era of dinosaurs and setting the stage for life to make a comeback on the planet.

Visitors will get to see and learn about unfamiliar and unusual creatures and learn more about the transitional period in the planet’s history through different types of media. Fossils will also be on display, giving children and their parents a closer look at the footprints left behind by these creatures from a different time. The exhibit is an excellent way to provide continued learning experiences to children during their time outside learning hours of Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Other highlights include learning about how scientists were able to use DNA to get a better idea of the world from millions of years ago, and the chance to see Earth’s shift from being a “hot house” to a period of cooler temperatures and the birth of new life forms.

The exhibit, which is at the Field Museum in Chicago, will run until Sunday, 3 January, 2027. Tickets are available to interested parties online.
