An exciting and memorable performance is coming to a Chicago venue in a few weeks, much to the delight of local children and their parents.
Frozen, Jr. has announced multiple performances scheduled for mid-December, giving area children the opportunity to see the film adapted for the stage and hear their favorite songs. The performance will be based on the 2018 Broadway musical adaptation of the Disney movie, with Elsa and Anna coming to life in their homeland of Arendelle before a full house.
Children who attend will have the opportunity to hear all the songs made famous by the film, with music and lyrics courtesy of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. The performance will also feature five new songs that have been written for the stage performance, which is suitable for children in preschool in 60618.
The stage performance will expand upon the relationship between the princesses Anna and Elsa while exploring the themes of acceptance and love between sisters. The enchanting production is a fun way for children at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview to sing along and learn more about their own emotions. It will be an evening of laughter and adventure that the entire family will enjoy.
The performance will premiere at the Beverly Arts Center, located on West 111th Street in downtown Chicago. It will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, with subsequent performances following on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are available online for $13 for members and $15 for non-members.
