A festival that is all about family fun and shared experiences is returning to Chicago this summer, bringing families together through a wide variety of children’s activities.

The Chicago Family Fun Festival & Vendor Market has gone public with the official dates for the gathering, allowing Chicago families advance notice to build the experience into their upcoming plans. The festival’s organizers are striving to provide a fun-filled day to Windy City families with young children who want to make memories away from home and daycare in Logan Square and the surrounding areas.

The experience will have something for each member of the family, from checking out the wares and offerings of vendors to interactive and creative children’s activities. A host of food trucks has also committed to attending this year’s festival, ensuring that families have access to different snacks, meals, and refreshments during their visit.

The family-friendly market will have children’s clothing, artisan-made toys, lifestyle items, natural beauty products, and other handmade goods. Organizers have worked diligently to provide a child-friendly environment through arts and crafts stations and games. The festival can offer a fun way for parents to spend quality time away from home after a week of summer camp in Chicago through Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview’s program.

Alexander von Humboldt Park, located at 1400 North Sacramento Avenue in downtown Chicago, will provide a green and spacious setting for the Chicago Family Fun Festival & Vendor Market. The gates are scheduled to open on Friday, June 26 at 10:00 AM, with the festivities concluding at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 28. General admission is free and open to the public, and parking spaces are free and abundant.
