Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Lauren began her academic career at the University of Central Missouri, where she earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
While raising her three children, she returned to further her education and obtained a degree in Early Childhood Education.
In 2010, she relocated to Chicago and joined Kids’ Work as a Junior Kindergarten Teacher.
In 2021, she stepped into a leadership position as the Distinction Coordinator, overseeing the maintenance and functionality of the facility and classrooms to ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized environment that supports both staff and students.
