A theater show with a holiday twist is getting ready for its opening night in a couple of weeks, giving parents with children a show that the entire family will enjoy.
Rudolph Runs Wild will welcome an audience of all ages to a Chicago venue for a holiday show that is as whimsical as it is wacky. The performers will provide a combination of sketches and family-friendly tunes that come directly from the Second City Improv archives. The writers for the show have amended some of the content to keep the comedy but ensure that it is suitable for children in preschool in Chicago.
The show is being billed as a unique interactive theatrical show that can help all audience members, young and old, discover a passion for comedy and the arts. The show can be an excellent way for parents to help their children build upon their interest in the arts, supplementing the enrichment programs at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.
Some audience members will also have the chance to join the Second City Theater performers on stage during the show. Parents will want to remember to bring a camera or phone to capture those magical moments while they bond with their children.
The Second City, located on West North Avenue in downtown Chicago, will host Rudolph Runs Wild starting on Friday, November 28, at 11:00 AM, with a second showing beginning at 1:30 PM. Interested parties can view all showtimes online, and tickets are $29 per person.
