Nature exhibit allows Chicago children to explore and learn

Parents with children who love learning about nature will want to save the date, as an interactive learning opportunity is coming to a Chicago museum.

The I AM WILD exhibit, which has been set up by Charley Harper, has opened its doors to parents in Chicago who want to share the beauty and balance of nature with their children. The exhibit will help attendees explore the fauna and flora of six habitats, including the ocean, desert, city, woods, sky, and rainforest.

It is an ideal learning opportunity for children attending preschool in Chicago, and it aims to cater to students of all ages. Children and their families will learn how life in nature relies upon interdependency for health and growth, fostering an appreciation and awe for nature’s creatures. It is a fun activity that families can attend to build stronger bonds during time together outside of daycare centers like Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

The exhibit will feature poster kiosks, an art studio where children can make art in Charley Harper’s unique realism style, and a zone where children can act like their favorite animals. It is topped off with the Woodland Ball Run, which lets little ones play hide-and-seek with various woodland creatures.

The Chicago Children’s Museum, located on East Grand Avenue, will host the I AM WILD exhibit, which will run through until May 10. One adult and one child are required for museum entry. Tickets are $21 for Illinois residents and $25 for non-residents online.
