New business to support Avondale parents and children

Open Houses: Your Key to Finding the Perfect Childcare

A new cafe that caters to parents and their children is open for business in Avondale, providing families with a fun space to enjoy interactive activities and sip coffee.

Avondale’s WonderPlay and Coffee, an indoor play center that serves parents and their children, has opened its doors to interested parties with a schedule that runs throughout the week. The organizers at the interactive center are organizing weekly events for children to learn and play with their peers, including art classes with Ms. Trina.

Interested parties do not need a reservation to enjoy the immersive atmosphere, and memberships and day passes can be purchased in person upon arrival. It is an excellent form of recreation for children in kindergarten in Chicago throughout the year. The activities offered at WonderPlay and Coffee include Brain to Belly Yoga, Unicoi Art Classes, and Baby Sensory Art Classes. Parents can register their children for the weekly activities online through the coffee shop’s website.

The coffee is courtesy of Magnifico Roasters, and parents can sip on top-notch coffee while their children play. Baked goods are also available, including gluten-free options from Mindful Baking Company for individuals with dietary restrictions.

The building will also feature a party room for birthday celebrations and an indoor playground that stimulates the imagination. The Littles’ Library provides a quiet space for children to learn, continuing their growth. The center is located just around the corner from us at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

WonderPlay and Coffee is open seven days a week, from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Daily passes cost $20. The cafe is located at 3501 W. Belmont Avenue in Chicago.
