Pizza-making workshop in Chicago shares culinary fun

Healthy Family Style Meals

Children in Chicago with an affinity for pizza and learning opportunities are in for a treat, as a pizza-making workshop designed for young ones is being organized in town.

The Kid’s Kitchen: Hands-On Pizza-Making 101 course is opening enrollment for a unique and savory learning opportunity for local children who love pizza. The class is open to those of childcare age in Chicago, and they will need to be accompanied by a guardian in the classroom.

The learning opportunity is being organized by La Scuola, which aims to help children learn the knowledge and skills behind Italian cooking. It is a memorable way for parents and their children to make new memories and discover a love for a new hobby, while expanding on what they’re already learning at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Children will discover how to work with ingredients so they can make pizza at home with their parents. They will also learn how to add toppings to the pizza and watch a demonstration from the head chef at La Scuola. Each child and parent or guardian will receive adapted recipes to take home to allow them to enjoy family pizza nights using the skills they have gained.

Eataly Chicago, which is located on East Ohio Street in Chicago, will host The Kid’s Kitchen: Hands-On Pizza-Making 101 course. It is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, at 1:00 PM. The pizza dish participants make can be eaten during the class or taken home. Registration is open online for $108.46 per child and parent duo.
