Theatre show for babies and carers to premiere in Chicago

Safe, Stimulating, and Loving Care

An acclaimed theatre show that is designed for infants and their caregivers has announced that it will make its North American premiere in Chicago in early January.

Parents will want to save the date in their phones for next month when RAIN for babies and carers takes to the stage in the Windy City. The show, which is designed for infants from newborns to those still crawling, will provide an immersive experience that uses multi-sensory elements to help get those in attendance involved.

The show, which can accommodate 10 babies and their carers at one time, features a trio of musical performers and facilitators. The performers will include music and movement, using their performing skills to act as warm and gentle guides in a world filled with surprises, delight, and the chance to connect with the surrounding world through touch and sound.

Parents are invited to attend with their infants to discover the beauty and wonders of rain. It is an appropriate event for those in daycare in Chicago, helping parents connect with their young ones and watch them grow outside of Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

The Filament Theatre in downtown Chicago will host the performances, which are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 6th, at 9:00 AM. Shows will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the last scheduled for Sunday, January 18th. Tickets can be reserved through the museum’s website for $33 per infant and carer.
