Apple festival to welcome taste of autumn in Chicago

Welcome To Grow With Me Drop-In Classes With Purpose!

An apple festival is being organized in Chicago next month, giving local families a fun and interactive event to look forward to this autumn.

The 38th Annual Lincoln Square Ravenswood Apple Fest has announced its date for this year’s festivities, and families are welcome to participate in a local tradition by attending. The organizers aim to use the festival as a way to help Windy City residents welcome the fall season while supporting the local community.

The environment will be family-friendly, and young ones are welcome to join in the fun with their parents or guardians. Local bands and musicians will perform live at the festival, and several apple-inspired treats and dishes will be available from local artisans and restaurants. The festival will also be a fantastic setting for families to do some seasonal shopping, with over 80 vendors confirmed to attend and display their handcrafted goods and toys.

A Kids’ Zone will be set up at the corner of Lincoln and Leland Avenues, providing a safe and fun setting for children. Scheduled programming suitable for pre-k children in Chicago and above will provide entertainment from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day of the festival. This is a great opportunity for children to extend the enrichment they receive at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview beyond the classroom.

The gathering will be held rain or shine. Parents should check the weather before attending to ensure their children are dressed accordingly. It will be held at Lincoln Square in Chicago starting next Friday, October 3, and ending on Sunday, October 5. Attendance is free, though a $5 donation is appreciated.
