Halloween celebration to provide seasonal fun for Chicago youth

Chicago parents looking for a memorable way to celebrate the spooky season with their young ones will want to save the date, as a Halloween event is coming to town.

The Trick-or-Treat Fest at Chase Park is returning for the third year running, giving area families something sweet and exciting to look forward to next month. The event, which is suitable for children two years of age and older, is one to mark on the calendar for parents with children in daycare in Chicago.

In addition to creating and sharing new core memories with their children, Chicago parents will also enjoy the chance to support a good cause, with 100% of the event’s proceeds going to the Chase Park Teen Club. All children at the festival will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and this could be an excellent way to get in the autumn spirit after a day spent at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Activities at the festival will include a “No Scare” Haunted House experience, a Halloween Cheer and Dance performance, a Spooky Circus, and ghost stories told by professionals. A bounce house, treat stations, Halloween arts and crafts, and fun games will round out the festival’s child-friendly activities.

A schedule sharing the times for the circus, stories, and dance performance will be announced in the coming weeks. The festival will take place at Chase Park in Chicago on Saturday, October 25, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Tickets are available online for $10 per attendee.
