Art show to organize family fun in Chicago area

An art show is coming to the Chicago area this spring with something for everyone, allowing parents with young children to enjoy the creative festivities.

The Deer Park Art Show has announced a weekend show that will put thousands of works from local artists on display, allowing families to revel in the color and creativity. These works will be displayed along Deer Park’s streets, allowing the 75 participating artists to share their skills with the world.

The displays will be complemented with live music from local bands and musicians, with their songs providing the weekend’s soundtrack. It will also feature a family-friendly environment, offering several fun things for kids to enjoy. The activities, including face painting and Kids’ Zone art projects, will be suitable for children of all ages, including those attending daycare in Chicago.

The Kids’ Zone will allow children to make sand sculptures, draw, color, and play bingo. It will be a nice setting where parents build stronger bonds with their children through art after a week of learning at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview. The festival will be accessible for parents with children who are still in strollers, and the child-friendly art tent will feature artistic demonstrations to help Chicago kiddos discover a passion for the arts.

The Deer Park Town Center will be the host site for the Deer Park Art Show, which is located on North Rand Road in Deer Park. It will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, and continue on Sunday, May 3. Admission and parking are free to interested parties.
