An arts and crafts fair has announced plans to return to the Windy City this spring for a two-day event showcasing local works, helping Chicago’s kids find a passion for creative pursuits.
The Lincoln Roscoe Art & Craft Fair will be coming to the Northside part of town in May to showcase works of art from dozens of local artists. These works will include sculptures, home decor, jewelry, and paintings that families in attendance can purchase and take home. This year’s fair will provide a family-friendly environment where children are welcome.
Local bands and musicians will take the stage to provide live music throughout the weekend, spreading positive energy throughout the fair. Parents can also make memories with their little ones by participating in interactive art activities for children at the Kid’s Art Zone. These activities can give children an opportunity to show the skills they have learned while enrolled in Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview’s curriculum and enrichment programs.
A live painting class will also be held, giving interested parties, including children in preschool in Chicago, an opportunity to build confidence in a warm setting. A face painting tent has also been organized to put a colorful smile on the faces of kiddos who attend with their parents.
The Lincoln Roscoe Art & Craft Fair will be held at 3329 North Lincoln Avenue in downtown Chicago. It opens at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 16, and continues on Sunday, May 17, at the same time. Admission is free and open to the public.
