Chicago children to unlock creativity in guided painting session

A creative opportunity is in the works for Chicago little ones this spring, providing a setting where parents can set their children up to discover an interest in the arts.

The Little Artists: Kids Paint & Play session, which is being organized by Lux Accents, has announced the date for a future gathering where children can explore their creative side and artistic abilities. The session, which will be guided by a talented and patient painter who has extensive teaching experience, is an ideal setting for children attending daycare in Chicago to enjoy weekend fun.

Little ones who are signed up for the Paint & Play session will receive guidance in painting a frog that is inside of a rain boot, playing on the spring season and its imagery. It is designed to provide a fun and interactive environment where students can discover new friendships, build their social skills, and gain confidence in themselves and their creativity. The learning session is ideal to supplement enrichment opportunities for those enrolled at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Children and their parents do not need to bring anything more than a positive attitude when signing up for the creative session. The canvas, brushes, paints, and aprons are all included in the enrollment price.

Lux Accent Studios, located on South Iron Street in downtown Chicago, is hosting Little Artists: Kids Paint & Play. The 2-hour class begins at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 17. Parents can register online for $17.85 per student.
