Children in Chicago will have a unique opportunity to meet a young author who has planned a visit to the city to promote her most recent book and meet with her fans.
Young author Bella Olson has announced that she will come to Chicago next month as part of the Kids Adventure Story Time series, and parents with children who enjoy reading will want to save the date.
Attendees will enjoy an interactive experience where they will learn more about and celebrate the release of Olson’s newest book, TRAPPED.
It is an ideal event for young readers, including those in kindergarten in Chicago, who love learning and have a sense of adventure. Olson will discuss the book before taking part in a question-and-answer segment at the event. The book’s story is a thrilling tale that is built around friendship, courage, and finding a way forward when situations get tough.
Fans can also get their book signed and have a photo taken with the young author to remember the event by.
The evening start time makes it accessible for children attending school or daycare, including those enrolled at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview. It’s also an excellent event for children with a passion for writing to draw inspiration from.
The author meet-and-greet will be held at Barnes & Noble in Wicker Park, Chicago. It’s set to begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6. Registration is open online and free for parents and their children. Tickets for the Book & Signing Experience are $12.95.
