Autumn is around the corner in Chicago, meaning area families will find several fun events and festivals to enjoy with their children.
The Fall Fest, hosted by the Lincoln Park Zoo, is wrapping up preparations to welcome area families for a unique community celebration of all things autumn. The festival, which will run for a full month, will provide a setting where children will have loads of crafts, games, and rides to enjoy with their parents.
Organizers have ensured that the host site will feature fire pits where guests can roast s’mores to get into the fall spirit. A pumpkin patch will also be accessible, allowing children at the festival to pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve for home decor. The festival is a safe setting for children in preschool in Chicago to learn new skills and gain new experiences in an immersive setting.
Parents will enjoy the seasonally decorated gardens at the zoo, which will be a hub of color as the season and leaves change. Free musical entertainment will be at the festival, providing a festive soundtrack for the day’s adventure.
This year’s rides will include a Ferris Wheel, several inflatables, the Giant Fun Slide, and a Fall Fun Zone to help children carry over their fun and learning from Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.
The festival will take place at the Lincoln Park Zoo, located on North Cannon Drive in Chicago. It will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, starting on Friday, September 26, at 10:00 AM. Admission is free to all interested parties.
