Dyslexia conference to promote learning and connection for Chicago parents

Health Benefits and Safety Nets Keep You Worry-Free

An annual conference has announced its imminent return to the Windy City area, and parents with children who have been diagnosed with dyslexia and other learning difficulties are invited to attend.

The Annual Spring Parent Dyslexia Conference is coming to the Chicago area in March as part of the Everyone Reading Illinois initiative. The one-day event can provide a setting where parents can network, receive validation, and build new friendships.

Parents will learn more about expert-led learning and the importance of parental connection. It is an opportunity for parents who are new to dyslexia, as well as those who have considerable experience. Those who attend can learn more about supporting the growth and development of their children in daycare in 60618 and the surrounding areas.

Attendees will leave the half-day learning experience with the tools, knowledge, and perspective necessary to support their children. It can be an opportunity for parents with children enrolled at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview to take steps at home to promote education and work more effectively with their little ones.

The Annual Spring Parent Conference will be held at the Gorton Center, located on East Illinois Road in nearby Lake Forest, and is scheduled for Saturday, March 7. It will be held a second time on Saturday, April 11, at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. The Gorton Center event will begin at 9:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased online, with member tickets costing $30 and non-member tickets set at $50 per guest.
