Holiday puppet show to entertain Chicago children

Kids’ Work Today

A holiday-themed puppet show has been announced for the Chicago area in the coming weeks, providing local little ones an entertaining path toward getting into the spirit of the season.

The Jabberwocky Marionettes have announced the date for their Winter Puppet Show, helping Windy City parents make plans and book their tickets for a memorable way to bond with their children. The performance will be suitable for all ages, making it a great option to build excitement after a day at preschool in Chicago. An adult must accompany all attendees under the age of 16.

The performance will be a collection of shorts performed by Wintry Puppets. The performances will bring the magic of winter to the audience with snowflakes, sledding, ice skating, and dancing. The characters in the performance will also work together to build a snowman and show the power of working together, adding to the enjoyable lessons children partake in from educators at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.

Parents and their young ones can also anticipate a short that follows the winter adventure of a small fox and friendly snowy owls who will sing and spread cheer throughout their performance.

The Color Club, located at 4146 North Elston Avenue in downtown Chicago, will host the puppet show. It is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM on Saturday, December 20, with the doors opening at 3:00 PM. Tickets will not be available at the door if the show sells out online. Tickets can be purchased for $14.63 per person.
