One of the most popular children’s film series of the 1980s and ‘90s has announced a meet and greet event in Chicago this summer, allowing parents and their children to meet some of its stars.
The Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Meet & Greet is coming to Chicago, with Amy O’Neill and Thomas Wilson Brown, and it is set to welcome visitors who want to meet the stars that brought the film series to the big screen. It is expected to be one of the premier events in Wrigleyville this summer.
Families who attend will receive a photo signed by the movie’s cast members, along with a photo taken with the cast. The family-friendly environment is suitable for children in kindergarten in Chicago, with attendees 12 and under enjoying free admission. A question-and-answer session will also be held with the cast, with a buffet platter available for those who wish to eat.
The experience gives parents in Chicago an opportunity to share one of their childhood favorites with their little ones. The nostalgic 1990s movie makes an excellent way to bond after a week of summer camp at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview. The host event can hold 300 attendees, and spots are limited, so interested families are encouraged to book their spot while they remain.
Sluggers World Class Sports Bar and Dueling Pianos, located on North Clark Street in Chicago, will host The Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Meet & Greet. It’s scheduled for Sunday, June 28, with the doors opening at 1:30 PM. General admission tickets are available online for $61 per person.
