A performance of a classic story is being planned and rehearsed in Chicago in preparation for its big opening, bringing an iconic Disney princess to life.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will be coming to the Stahl Family Theatre this March, offering families the opportunity to see the iconic story live and in person. The show, which is suitable for children as young as two years old, is a fun way for parents to connect with their children through stories and imagination.
Actors and actresses from the Chicago Kids Company will play their roles and tell the story, all while creating an environment that is ideal for children in pre-K in Chicago. The performance will tell the story of a jealous queen who sends Snow White away from the castle in her pursuit of becoming the fairest of them all. Snow White encounters seven quirky dwarves with whom she quickly befriends.
Through trickery and treachery, the queen gets Snow White to eat a poisoned apple and fall into a deep sleep. Parents can rest assured that there are no scary moments in this production, and the performers will provide plenty of silliness and laughter along the path to the story’s ending. It’s a story that is sure to bolster the imaginations of students enrolled at places like Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.
The Stahl Family Theater, located on West Belmont in Chicago, will be hosting the ongoing performances. The opening performance is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th, at 10:30 AM. Tickets start at $18 per guest online.
