Parents of children who love everything Minecraft will want to save the date for an upcoming event that eliminates the screen and brings the world of Minecraft to life.
The Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is coming to a venue in the greater Chicago area this May, providing children the opportunity to use their skills and wit to save the day. Participants can look forward to an immersive, in-person adventure that places them in a fun but high-stakes environment.
The experience is centered around saving the game’s villagers while also completing a scavenger hunt. Children will venture through several Minecraft biomes during the hour-long journey, gaining the ability to build structures and enjoy interactions with iconic characters. It’s a suitable experience for Minecrafters of all ages, including those in preschool in 60618.
Parents are welcome to participate with their little ones, providing a unique bonding experience. The adventure can serve as a fun way to reward children for a successful week of growing and learning at Kids’ Work Chicago Riverview.
Upon completing the experience’s quest, participants can visit the Trading Post and purchase souvenirs and mementos to remember the journey by. The experience offers a way for children to be engaged and have fun while staying active.
EXP Rosemond, located at 9900 Berwyn Avenue in nearby Rosemont, will offer Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue through most of the summer, with opening day being Friday, May 8. The exhibit will be open every day except for Tuesdays. Tickets can be purchased online for $39.50 per person.
